His House – Part 2

In this sermon we were reminded that as the true house and body of Christ, we must be utterly dependent on Jesus as our Head, letting Him govern our choices, affections, and direction. We were warned that in these last days many deceptive, worldly “Christian” expressions—whether in entertainment, politics, or culture—try to mix Jesus with darkness, and that we must be a people who clearly live differently and exercise discernment between the holy and the profane. Through the examples of Israel’s journey and God’s provision in the wilderness, we were called to come out from the world, rely on the cross and the Word, and allow the Lord to purify us as His set-apart people.
